We’ve been calling this one since before it had a name. In our BeautyMark Autumn/Winter 2017 forecast, we wrote that draping, applying blush past the cheekbone and up to the temple to sculpt the complexion with peach and rose, was already starting to happen. Years later, the industry finally has a name for the technique we spotlighted back in 2016. Ginger Spark No. 8 flagged it again more recently, calling blush the new makeup darling, heightening the feminine flush across NYFW Fall 2026 collections.
